Fibonacci is operated by Maria Alegre Ribas, who is the data controller for the personal data described in this notice — meaning she decides why and how it is processed. You can reach her at hello@fibonaccigames.app.

Account data: the email address from the parent's Google sign-in, and a securely hashed parent code. Child profile data: the name, age or birth date, chosen icon, and math progress you enter or that is generated through play. Usage data: basic technical information such as device type and IP address needed to deliver and secure the service. Support data: messages you send us.

We process account and child profile data to create and sync your family's profiles and progress (performance of our contract with you). We process usage data to keep the service secure and prevent fraud (our legitimate interests). We process support messages to answer you (legitimate interests, or consent where required). We do not use children's data for advertising or profiling.

Service providers who help us run the app (hosting and authentication). Paddle, our Merchant of Record, who processes payment data for sales, subscription management, tax compliance and invoicing — Paddle has its own privacy terms for that processing. Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where needed, and authorities where the law requires it. We never sell personal information and never share it with advertisers.

Some of our service providers process data outside the UK/EEA. Where that happens, we rely on adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses to protect your data.

We keep your account and child profile data for as long as your account is active. If you delete a child profile or your account, we delete the associated personal data within 30 days, except where we must keep records for legal or tax reasons. Data that is no longer needed is deleted or anonymised.

You can access, correct, delete or receive a portable copy of your personal data, restrict or object to its processing, and withdraw consent where processing is based on it. You can delete a child profile any time from Parent view; for anything else, email hello@fibonaccigames.app and we will respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

We protect your data with appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and securely hashed parent codes. No method of storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your family's information.

We use only essential cookies and local storage required to keep you signed in and remember your family's profiles on your device. We do not use analytics or marketing cookies.
